Thing I most admire about Coach K is the way he can relate and motivate young men 1/3 his age (when coaching Duke), and egos 10x his (when coaching Olympics). His opponents hated him, his players loved him. I guess that’s about the highest compliment any coach can receive!!!

I'm a Tarheel, but I have so much respect for Coach K as one of greatest coaches of all time. Duke played great and it was anybody's game until the last 46 secs. Best DUKE-UNC match up ever. There is no loss here. Coach K and his players should hold there head high. Look how far they made it. They gave us the first NCAA match up for DUKE-UNC ever.

I'll definitely miss coach k best wishes in retirement. I've been a life long carolina fan . Not only do I respect you coach. I've watched you coach in some of the greatest games ever. It won't be the same without you lots of great duke teams , young guys who have become grown men . NBA players national championships and olympic gold medals. Big respect for this Duke team. UNC fan here but without duke being good this season ACC woulda been dead, they pushed UNC to be better in every way in their games and congrats to K on a great career. Hate duke with a passion but I can’t say I enjoy seeing the duke student athletes this sad… as a senior in HS seeing people my age cry hurts. Go heels but thank you K.

As a UNC fan I just want to say thank you to Coack K. I will never forget the time I got to see him coach against NC State with his 2015 championship team. He will go down as one of the greatest if not the greatest coach of all time. Coach I love to hate you. Hope you have a wonderful retirement. Thank you.
