The City of Waukesha issued a statement Wednesday after Darrell Brooks was found guilty of all 76 charges in connection to the Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy.

I can not express how bad I wanted to jump through my screen and shut that clown up during the trial. It’s unfathomable that someone could have the audacity to act like that in front of victims and their families after church committing such a horrendous tragedy. I give huge credit to everyone there for keeping their composure and professionalism so well, I don’t know how they did it! Plus big props to who, ever told him to burn in hell, that was great!

Did he really think in his twisted mind he was going to walk out of there a free man? Really should have had counsel Darrell. The best you might have gotten was life with maybe parole after 50 years. I’m glad he has a lot of time to think about it.

I have prayed for you all every day of the trial and this morning too. 🙏 I have heard and read an abundance of angry messages aimed at db that also included negative racial remarks. I am an African-American older woman from Texas who watched every bit of the trial. Ì was delighted at the verdicts. I hope you can accept that there are people of color who wish your community well as you experience some healing. My being Black doesn't blind me to how disgusting and horrific the acts committed by db on 11/21/2021 truly were. I hope this year's parade is full of the joy of the season and uplifting to all.💜

When Brooks said he "objected" after Judge Dorow read every charge out loud, and then telling the judge he did want the jury polled, really? He will *never* accept the fact that he harmed anyone! That he killed anyone! Complete and clear denial in every possible way. DB was really loving the fake Reddit post. That was his final ticket to get rid of the jury and start all over, but again, he's just the dumbest lawyer ever! I think we all know that he's not going to go to his cell and stay quiet. I'm afraid we'll be hearing from him alot more in the future!
