Was a precedent just set by the judges for the remainder of the season? The lead does not have to be under acceleration, while in drift, in a non deceleration zone. Seems a bit wonky but ok.

Brutskiy Definitely getting babied thru the event. Should have been knocked out in top 32 and he wasn't even on throttle halfway through oz1 until contact was made

Congrats to Cole for the well deserved win & good looks to the judges for all the call outs they did, excellent judging & eyes to see all that went down to make the most fair call. You can see the envy in Dimitris eyes when Cole won. It wasn't right for him not to respectfully clap as it is a universal language to show respect towards someones performance in a distance without saying anything & should have rightfully done so after break checking him to win in a dirty manner to be 1st place in the place coles in also clapping out of respect towards his 1st win being that young in his first time in the sport. That hug & congrats is just as fake as the win he tried to get & the "champ" that he is, he only did it not to look bad in front of camera & people. He's so slick with the break checking he's probably done it in the past before the light indicaters. people doing such should get taken out of FD after 2-3 strikes, unacceptable behavior. One of the biggest cheat in the drift sport. Chris Forsberg has even called this out happening more often then said or caught in the past. Needs to be taken more serious to make the sport more fair. It was caught thankfully this time but if it wasn't it just wouldn't have been a rightful win, once done too much serious manners should be done as in any sport when a competitor cheats to win

Am I losing it, or should that contact between Cole and Dmitriy have been put on Cole? He was way on the inside trying to catch up and obviously came in too hot? If he was on the same line as Dmitriy, then the minor adjustment in front wouldn’t have been such an issue.

I like these acceleration lights but they seem pretty unreliable. Severals events I have seen them obviously glitching out giving the wrong signals. Fortunately they were in battles where it was never brought into play but it's only a matter of time. I hope FD are aware of this and teams can protest and provide the real telemetry to overrule the decision.
