I’m in love with Judge! Watching him grow and grow and grow, has been a privilege!! His body is huge but his heart is even bigger!! He’s such a caring, loyal, gentle guardian with his flock. Learning from the best, Mr Bo, that man of few words whose actions are everything!! Much respect! Then you’ve got Lilly, your alpha female role model, bouncing around with enthusiasm and fiercely protective! How could Judge have possibly turned out any other way with those two as his tutors?! They coyotes have learned already the heavy scent of Judge, the implacable livestock guardian dog. Along with the swirling aromas of the herd, the current overwhelming scents of the LGD’s of Bo, Lily, and the rest of the security team; Luna, and Pete and juvenile Steam; the coyotes are assaulted and repelled by the force of protective pheromones and fierce barking and posturing at the fence line or any boundary by the Raventree Ranch Avengers!
No coyote will dare attempt to invade the LDG’s space at this farm. The herds can remain calm and relaxed knowing the “Force” is with them!
It is a wonderful peek inside this world of this successful operation. I m learning a lot, appreciate the sharing, privileged to have this opportunity in this venue to see the growth of still juvenile Judge who is not fully grown, yet showing so much maturity, skill, and understanding of his role and position on this team.
Thanks for allowing us to watch the progress and success of the ranch’s business. So impressive! 👍🥰🐕❤️❤️

I love livestock guardian dogs. Their instincts for guarding and protecting are born, they need some training but surprisingly little. These big guys are problem-solvers, they figure out the best way to protect their herd/flock and then they just do it. And even if you have one or more that don't guard a flock and aren't true working dogs, with a little socialization and understanding of their quirks, you will NEVER find a better, more loyal, more faithful, or more awesome companion.
