For anyone wanting to buy this headunit, let me give you some feedback from my recent experience:
1- If your car is a Limited version with stock head w/navigation: these versions come with a stock amplifier that uses a different system than the other...let's say...more basic models. So, these Limited version need a different interface kit. Where to get it? I don't know. The technician that helped me install mine had it and charged me for it, of course he wasn't going to reveal where he got it from. With this new harness everything worked perfectly fine.
2- Pros: no issues connecting to Wifi (my phone's hotspot), no issues with bluetooth either /OEM back up camera working / Steering wheel controls working. / Waze works perfectly good / YouTube runs smoothly but for some reason when you start it or search for a video it first give you like the "reload" icon so you gotta keep pressing reload first / Netflix runs pretty smooth. / Spotify: pro & con, pro is that it works, con is that it is a little slow but I think this is a problem of the app itself working on android tablets because I have a Samsung tablet where spotify works also slow.
3- Cons: the position angle makes it get a lot of reflection from the sky specially on very bright days, if the days is not too bright no problem, at night no problem at all of course / The sound is not as good as the stock radio and the equalizer has waayyy too many different adjustments, I feel like I only need one for each bass, mid & treble. This one has 32 adjustments / It also has the option to turn off/on "loudness". I turned this on to have a better sound but the con here is that sometimes it reboots itself to "off" so I've encountered myself having to turn it back on several times / The unit doesn't start immediately every time, sometimes you get the sound (radio) immediately as soon as you start the ignition but some other times it's like it's rebooting and takes a little longer to start so you will see first the brand logo then the android logo until it finally starts / There is no way to leave the stock mic working, it only works with its own mic that you can see on the upper left corner, therefore, your calls quality might not be as good as with the stock mic plus I'm pretty sure there is a little lag in the sound during calls because I've noticed people doesn't reply immediately after I said something / Last, for the backup camera this unit works with RCA cable and so the image quality is not as good as it used to be with the stock unit. The image is not as bright, clear and crispy as before.

That's just part of what I have experienced so far. I feel like I would have just made a video instead but I hope this helps you. Perhaps I can do a video to show the interface that was installed in my car and really show all different functions of this unit.

Definitely makes the car look more modern. And it doesn’t physically look super aftermarket. Until you turn it on.

My 2013 Elantra the clock pulls out with trim plate .
No problem , 2 screws & 2 push down tabs releases clock, then you can put back & finish installing as they show .

What sucks about this type of replacement is there is no volume knob for fast adjustment of volume (which makes it a HUGE safety issue).

Just install mine to a 2013 Elantra GLS. But for some reason the climate control, steering wheel and doors controls the lights don't turn on, climate control and doors work, the steering wheels controls does not work!!!

Anybody that is interested in the product just know it really is great. The only thing is once connected to wifi it performs slow, apps close by themselves while trying to start em like hbo max and it does not have the same output as your factory radio so you will lose sound. I like it but losing sound is a no no for me.

I'm 2 years late to the party but I like this video. I just purchased a 2016 Hyundai Elantra with very low mileage. I'd like to replace the head unit at just as low a price. Thanks!

Why do none of them come with like a glare cap or something 😭 it leaning forward like how am I gonna see into the backup camera? Is there an add-on for that? It looks really nice otherwise

Well a few things here. I purchased this unit as the price was decent. I installed it on my wifes 2011 and install was fast ans straight forward, the only issues was the little tabs that held the clock onto the factory trim i had to cut off as it interfered with the new trim...no big deal still only took me 20 min to install it. As far as the unit gos, it works fine but it does not have android auto or apple car play so dont buy if thats what your looking for. This unit instead wants you to scan bar codes and install apps i believe for mirroring but it does connect your phone via blu tooth though and the screen is absolutely terrible to try and see in the sun and it gives you vary little in way of adjusting the contrast/brightness as well which was disappointing

Would be sick if you could connect it to your OBD-II port, so if you wanted to get any diagnostic codes for your Elantra and it'd be right the on screen.

I connected all the wiring good and it doesn’t work, I will ask for a change of stereo. I connected the old one and it work good.

Does the GPS antenna not have to be run outside? Did you just leave it in the dash?
