The world's biggest memory chipmakers, Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, have submitted their semiconductor data to the U.S. ahead of a deadline given by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The South Korean chipmakers complied,... but did not hand over sensitive or classified information such as the names of their clients or their inventory levels.
South Korea's trade minister, who is currently in the U.S. to discuss semiconductor supply chains,... also confirmed the data had been handed over.
Vowing to capitalize on the dialogue,... the minister said he does not expect any further measures from the U.S.
