Max is the key to this trade, if the Mavs are to win this trade down the line i would think max is the reason why that happens, dude became a stud once he was in the starting lineup in LA and he has more room to grow

He’s got great leadership qualities too. He’s perfect to pair with Lively who’s also shining in the same regard & both collectively under the veteran leadership of Kyrie, Klay, & AD with teammates like PJ & Naji, it literally adds more depth to the team that is necessary to chase a title.
If this squad is ever fully healthy, it’ll own every paint store it comes across.
If not this season, then next season. What would be the biggest shame of a team not running it back come next season since we’ve seen the current Suns team do that already.
I still want another piece here & I don’t care what it is, but a point guard would be best. Another big would be a solid investment on the flip though based on track records. Still, that has to be acquired without giving anything up. Otherwise, run it back.

Max Christie is worth at least 2 unprotected firsts. Davis maybe 5. Plus the one they got. Luka is maybe worth 10. So Lakers still got a good deal, but it's less lopsided than people think.
