I bought this bad boy basically as soon as it was announced. Its been blowing my mind. Corporate, creative, music videos, whatever. Its been super solid and i couldnt be happier. I've been hiring a range of lights for a few years now, but this was my first lighting addition to my personal gear. Ive noticed people impressed with its RGB capabilities too, as it really filled a gap in the market in terms of price to performance. All in all, an epic product.

I have the Godox ZS150R and noticed the output reading if right are lower on the Amaran. On the Godox at 3200 I've measured it at 24, 000 and 5600 at 30, 000 Lx. this compared to the 300c of only 21, 390 and 5600 of 26, 580.
Remembering that the Godox is only a 150 watt unit compared to Amaran at 300 watts something seems to be amiss.

Selling my Nova P300c to buy 2 of these. The nova is way too heavy and awkward to mount for most day shoots.
