Hart is the new Shawn Marion, not Rodman. Rod was an all-time top 5 if not 3 defender. Hart is a do-it-all ultimate role player 3rd or 4th option who is also very solid defender while being undersized at 6'6; Marion was 6'7.

The Knicks are so beat up right now with a few guys playing hurt and some of our best players out completely yet they are still finding a way to win. The heart and motor this team has is the strongest in the NBA and they are literally leaving it all out on the floor and us Knicks fans are extremely grateful for this. Every single game is a nail biter as well which isn’t good for my heart lol. If the Knicks manage to make it to the eastern conference finals in their current condition and give Boston a struggle, I’d be very happy with that. Most of us know that their chances to win it all right now are slim, if they were all healthy I’d feel a lot better by that but crazy things happen sometimes so I’ll never say never. Best thing about all this is that the Knicks have the ability to sign a superstar with all their capital and picks and even more importantly we have a team that other players see and might want to play a part in giving the Knicks their first championship since the 70’s which would make them all NY legends.

It’s even more amazing that the Knicks got him from the Blazers in exchange for a bag of chips.I think we gave them Reddish.Hart also sacrificed his salary by accepting 12 million for 1 year instead of 18-20 million so the Knicks could sign a free agent which turned out to be Donte Divincenzo, Hart and Brunson’s former college teammate.This guy is pure class.

The thumbnail perfectly captures him as a player. I don’t like when casual fans call players like him, Dray, Ben, Rudy etc trash because they don’t score a lot of points or don’t shoot 3s well when it’s so much more to the game than just that. Josh Hart rebounding is definitely one of the things I was surprised about the most he’s 6’5 not the most athletic or strongest it’s just all about effort and he has a lot of energy.
