Massive fire destroys construction project on Everett waterfront

I was at that fire. The fire department took a little time getting up there. Everything was catching fire in the neighborhood, roofs, patios, furniture, trees, bushes, "everything" was catching fire. The people who fought that fire early didnt even live there most of the residents were not home. Had those people stood around like hundreds of others taking pictures and videos, that whole neighborhood would have burned down. It was five minutes from total catastrophe. They didnt mention the two tanker cars a the bottom of the hill full of oil that started to glow. If they blew, I wouldnt be here to tell you this. The heat was so intense it was hard to breathe and my clothes were smoking. At the end of the day nobody died = good day.

They need to stop using drywall, and start using masonry again for fire walls.
