Onion  1/2 kg
     gram flour / besan / kadalai mavu 250 g
     Rice flour  50 g
Hot oil - 3 tbsp
     Green chili  3
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Cashew - few (optional)
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/4 tbsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
     Ginger  a small piece
     Fennel seeds 2 tbsp
     Curry leaves  few
Mint leaves - 1/2 handful
     Garlic  10 cloves
     Salt  as needed
     Oil   for deep frying
