Love how it doesn't get more beginner friendly than this yet there's hidden gems of advanced knowledge sprinkled throughout the video

Really need this - been struggling to find my own ambient voice for dark/haunting vibes.

Algorithm moment! This is a really solid first steps type of video. As a fellow Ambient composer, one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that there's always something new to discover. Never shy away from using all kinds of wacky sounds as the basis for your composition. Manipulation is key. Happy Ambient-ing! ♥

I'm at my beginning of this journey of making music again. Did some in my early 20's and now wanted to start again in my early 50's. A lot has changed!! Especially when it comes to DAWs, the choices in instruments, plugins etc..

This video was PERFECT for me in the fact that you showed me how to I start again by keeping it simple. Wonderful stuff.

This channel keeps on giving and thank you Chris for everything you do. I love your content and approach. ❤

I always thought you should never use reverb on the bass, but those four notes in combination with the pad is divine! Thanks for sharing!

This guy always gives useful advice with a really positive attitude. I'm queuing this for later, and YES I have TOTALLY used one of your presets to lay down an instant Ambient feel for people to jam on live.

This is fantastic, i am following along and downloading stuff as I go. Sounds great so far. Real newbie comment - it took me a while to figure out timecode 18:00 - click and drag - to copy the reverb. I couldn't see under your head ;-) I like your style! Subbed!
