Why’s there an assumption that a higher vibe and having more energy is better? When people refer to ‘vibing’ or liking the vibe of a place, it’s usually associated with being chilled out. Or think about how people want to be ‘cool’. It’s relaxed and comfortable in your own skin but with an edge. You can even take the obnoxiously used term ‘Alpha’ which originates from alpha waves (8-12hz) which are longer and slower (or lower in frequency) than beta waves (12-30hz). Beta waves are akin to nervous energy. Fast pace, nervous talking, overthinking, elevated heart rate etc etc. All I’m saying is, doing jumping jacks before meeting someone in hope that your frequency is higher so you can ‘vibe’… might have the opposite effect. Just relax. Chill out, be cool. You feel me? Then we’re vibing 😂

When you were describing vibe, , it made me think of umami. Like my vibe is my umami of my soul, but I'm also food motivated. Most of my vibe has to do with whether I've eaten or not. Those Snickers commercials are about me. 😆
