I’ve been playing with it for a while now and I appreciate how it goes way beyond most of the “wrapper” apps out there. Being able to control and provide relatively narrow knowledge sources is a huge plus. I feel that society will need to move to basing decisions upon what trusted sources have to say. Not that we ever could trust most online reviews and ratings, but this lets us do controlled, deep dives that don’t take half a day. I’m a big fan and hope that when they start charging, that fees are reasonable.

I have used Notebook LM. It is pretty awesome. I agree that we need to leverage AI as a tool. While it will replace asome aspects of human activity it is still a tool we should take advantage of.

Can you get that phone report as a pdf? Or am I stuck listening to it? I like the whole concept, but just like I am not about to watch or listen to a 90-minute podcast, that 27-minute answer sounds like a torture session. Ok, maybe I am exaggerating, but I have no problem problem listening to you, so can you do the voice-over? Or might it have better to just get a briefing doc or study guide as the answer? Thank you.

I now know what to say to persons who cannot stop boasting about the power of AI. All along I have tried to convince them that AI cannot replace the human thinking and logic process. The program you showcased takes the power of the human brain and uses AI to target on the user's query.

The best free tools are outside the browser (so no cloud, 100% local) and FOSS. As soon as the browser gets involved it gets a lot slower and clumsier.
