Wendigo's are real. They are here in the South West region of the US. Tribes don't like to talk about them because they will stalk the people who call them.
Also here in the US we have Upright Canine's.... The Dogman. They are real too. Mostly seen in the South like Taylor Mississippi, Tennessee and Louisiana (There they are called the rougarou). Although I have heard stories in Michigan, Ohio, Pacific North and Mexico. They are in different sizes ranging from 6 ft to 14 ft tall and different colors. They travel in packs and sometimes run with coyotes.
When they stalk you you will know. The forest will be dead quiet, not even a cricket. Then you'll have the feeling that your being watched. If you run they will kill you and eat you. They love the chase.
I have also heard Bigfoot and Dogman fight over territory. Don't go looking for them it's rare that the people ever could back. People who do encounter them by accident are usually traumatized and have PTSD.
