I don't know why they keep saying comicon. I'm guessing any event can have illicit activity. They seem to be inferring that this unique to only this event.

I wonder what the reasoning was behind offering trafficked people at Comic Con. "They are a bunch of nerds. They are not getting any. We'll make tons of money!"
Glad this operation was taken out though, and hopefully the people who would buy are taken out of the nerd pool. I say this as someone who was cosplaying way back when we were considered weird and immature. I find it neat that it's become a main stream thing that is admired.
