Season 2, Episode 13 - The Beat Goes On

Synopsis: [May contain spoilers]

Scaredy is afraid of everything... until he gets close to a percussion instrument. Then he's the "Little Bat with the Big Beat". Then Ruby and Skull Boy accidentally cause Scaredy to think there's something wrong with him for not being afraid to play the drums. Of course, when he's convinced he's needed behind the drums, he becomes a drumming machine, driving everyone batty.

This series is so good, even when it draws out a simple lesson. I know that's so the little kids will get it, and that's great. Even I enjoyed seeing Scaredy Bat expand his comfort zone.

Just one thing though: this is a Canadian cartoon; why didn't Scaredy roll out some zydeco with his accordion? Okay, I guess because it was supposed to be annoying, right away, as polka was done to death by the Lawrence Welk Show. I used to enjoy that stuff.
