Onride: 'Bengal rapid river' 💦 HD/POV 2019 - Bellewaerde park

Показать описание
Bengal Rapid River is a rapid river in the Belgian animal and amusement park Bellewaerde .
The track opened in 1988 and was built by the Limburg Vekoma and Space Leisure .
The round boats have eight (4x2) seats. Bellewaerde was the first amusement park that came up with the idea of dividing the boats into four parts. However, this idea was not patented, so other parks later also applied this concept. Dividing the boats ensures that the whitewater course with a relatively calm course gets a much more intense experience.
The attraction is accessible to anyone taller than 100 cm. Children between 100 and 120 cm must be accompanied by an adult.
At the end of 2014, after the park season, renovation works will be carried out on the decorative waterfall next to the track. New effects were added in 2015, including underwater blasts. In May 2016, however, amusement park news site Looopings reported that the decor of the attraction had been neglected.
Paint and cement are peeling, everything has turned green due to the vegetation and pipes are exposed. Presumably these are pipes from the new securities installed the year before. In a response, Bellewaerde announced that maintenance for the attraction was still planned. To this day, the attraction is unfortunately still very dilapidated.
At the end of 2016, Walibi Holland decided to place new boats on El Rio Grande , also a Vekoma whitewater course. The old boats were transported to Bellewaerde.
It is striking that the new boats in Walibi Holland now consist of one piece, so that Bellewaerde is the only park left with compartmentalised boats.
Due to fall foliage and the very green environment surrounding the fairway of the attraction, Bengal Rapid River was unable to open in the late season. If the leaves get into the pumps, this can cause serious problems. As a result, the attraction was also inaccessible during the busiest time of the year, the Halloween period. Then the entrance was blocked with decorative pieces (such as smoking car wrecks).
That changed in 2017: a large filter was installed so that leaves can no longer end up in the pumps and the attraction can be opened all season.
