*Idea for an animation:* "SSS Cory" is actually a shapeshifter keeping the real Cory hostage in his basement. It runs Cory's channel, delusional, desperately trying to believe it's the real Cory.

Edit: Thanks to Keagan Mc in the replies for this idea: The reason Cory left for 9 months is because the shapeshifter took over. "SSS Cory" draws power from the affection the samurai have for Cory, so after he left, he became stronger than ever, allowing "SSS Cory" to replace him.
