Joyo R Series Pedals: How Good Are They?

I've been seeing the Joyo R series line expand over the last few years and I have become more and more interested. So I bought 8 of them that I hadn't previously tried to find out how good are they? By no means did I try them all, but I think that 8 pedals should give me a good snapshot of this line of effects.

Disclaimer: The opinions in this video are my own, I was not in any contact with Joyo, nor did they contribute to this video in any way.

Came for the pedals, stayed for the playing. Those lines are inspiring!

I own ALL the R-Series except for the octave pedal. I have them all on 2 seperate boards then i connect the 2 boards together to make a huge Joyo board as I call it. LOL. You cant beat the prices for this series, and they are built like tanks. Love the colored lights too !!! The Zip Amp pedal is the best drive pedal in my opinion...it really makes your amp sound different. Not a big fan of the Vision Mod or my Narsisus chorus. but they are unique in their own way. Joyo makes rock solid good sounding "affordable" gear...THX for this video !!!

Great video man! Really like the Uzi. Just because it's affordable doesn't mean it's bad. Thanks for the good honest reviews. Per usual the playing is excellent.

Dude I have to say, you have very good and interesting chord progressions & notes & really stand in a league of your own 👍

Joyo, Caline, Mooer, & Behringer all have very usable pedals that have stood the test of time in my opinion.

I have a joyo 1 by 12 cabinet and it is absolutely awsome and takes any amp head. It is worth the wait

I have the delay and reverb. They are excellent pedals. The delay has tap tempo and a built in looper. Great features for the price. They sound beautiful and seem to be very well built. I have a few of the cheaper Joyo pedals and I always recommend the Ultimate Drive. Amazing OCD clone. At $20-$30, everyone should own one.

Joyo Orthros is their line selector it’s such an important tool in my studio under $50 brand new everyone with a lot of pedals should have this gem!

7:37 when you were staying in time with the delay, it became kinda psychedelic😂

Great review. Good pedals for the price, personally I've found that I can't go cheap on overdrives.

They have some very nice ones. I am interested in the cab sim pedal.

I own the dark flame and the preamp house. The preamp house i use as my main amp along with the power stage 170 into a bugera 4x12 cab. It sounds awesome real heavy tone. The TH200 for my distorton tone

I have the Legal Done noise gate, Chopper Z and the UZI, I'm floored with the tone.

Pedals aside, your playing is excellent! Great video - had been curious about Joyo. Sounds are great, but wondering about the durability - an issue I’ve seen with super cheap budget brands is the switches fail after light use.

The Monomyth has been my main pedal for bass since I got it. The xlr out is amazing for live gigs and it sounds fabulous through the fx of my yorkville combo

I just added a Double Thruster to my anything but budget pedals bass board! I actually compared it to the DG it is “inspired” by and there is literally no difference. Given I don’t use this modern tone much but still want to play around with it. I’m glad I could find the tones I wanted to explore without a big investment. The pedal is solid and frankly looks better than the DG to my eyes and I love the fluorescent light option.
