1976 was a great year, fantastic music in the charts and that long hot summer will always be remembered. Tina Charles was fabulous in 1976. I believe Tina Charles was a session singer before she became a successful solo singer in her own right. Great memories here.

Some wonderful music and memories as we tried to "grow up" through the seventies, it certainly put me right back into the escapades and adventures from those fantastic times. Thank you for all your work compiling these sets for us, really appreciated.

I was doing my duke of Edinburgh Award that year, we were camping in a farm in Farnborough Hampshire and the field opposite was on fire, i think that year was one of the hottest ever.
My days in a boarding school in Alton ( LMTC ) between 1970-76, how time flies it seems like only yesterday and yet on march 2 I'll be claiming my old age pension and people tend to be shocked when I tell them my age, some lady recently made me laugh when she thought i was 36, i have my dreams and memories and two lovely children to show for it, i wonder what ever happened to Linda penefold in Barnstaple, Caroline in Aldershot, Fiona in Folkestone, Debbie in bognor regies, it feels like I am in a time warp i am still listening to 60 and 70s music. I think i must be dreaming I'll wake up in a minute ❤

Thanks for putting this together.
For me, ‘76 was a year of approximately four emotional sections, roughly equating to the seasons, punctuated by the longest period of settled summer weather in recent history. Extreme highs and lows experienced in equal measure.
Probably my watershed year.

Ah, Mississippi by Pussycat. I had a big crush on lead singer, Toni, and nearly fifty years later, it has not abated! ❤
