Greenworks 16' Cordless Electric Lawn Mower from Amazon Review

I got a new lawnmower! This is a Greenworks 25322 16" Cordless electric lawn mower. I got it on Amazon Prime day for about $160.00. It's small, light-weight and comes with a rechargeable 40v lithium battery. Yes, it comes with a charger too. This is a bagging mower that seems to work pretty well for such a small mower. It's coolest feature is the beautifully engineered height adjustment which looks like a gear shifter and actually raises and lowers the mower really well!

So I can say without any hesitation that while I do like this mower, and it performs well and is super easy to push around, I don't think I'd be as happy if I paid full price. The 16" width is pretty small for a $300 mower.Fortunately for me, I only paid $160. At $160 the mower is great and a perfect size for my needs. That being said, I would not recommend this mower to anyone with a large yard. I suspect that the bag capacity, the battery capacity and the narrow width would make it annoyingly limited when trying to do a big job. Nonetheless, if you don't have a big yard, and especially if you can find it discounted, it's cute and works well.

Well Clay guess it is time for you partner in Laminate Flooring to help educate you on the 2 in one thing with your mower. I have the Kobalt (older Lowes Version of the same mower). The 2 in 1 is in reference to it can Bag or Mulch. The Flap should come down to block the chute.

BUT yea these are IDEAL for small yards as it does not take up a lot of space no need for a gas can. They are SOOO more more quite compared (obviously) to a combustion. You can mow YOUR neighbors lawn for them as a solid at 3AM and not wake any one. Not sure why and sane human would want to do that but well you COULD. One thing that you have not run across yet is that IF you let you grass get too high you will bog it out faster then a combustion mower. Some times I will have to do a pass on 5 then lower it to 3.

Are these Light... Heck yea, I call mine the bubble mower cause many times I feel like I am pushing a tow around my yard. No fear of rusting on most of the parts it is like 90% durable plastic.

I would say more over that $300 is a bit much for a 40 volt mower as 80 volt have been out for a couple of years now. (Actually the year after I bought my 40 volt). Sure everything is getting more expensive due to the nature of the world over the last year plus, BUT I have to agree that the MSRP is a bit high. Sub $200 is for this area and this product type approaching Great Value, as opposed to the normal adequate value of most things.
