When they are together, the 2 royals are on duty and their body movements are accordingly. Reading too much into the body language of the royals can be very misleading. The royals are normal people too except they are always busy with duties and with other people. Let them get on with their lives and stop dissecting them like some research materials. ❤

So? They aren't close. There's no reason they should be. Anne is Princess Royal. Sophie is a very recent Duchess, bumped up from Countess. Anne is 72; Sophie, 58. They are separated by 14 years.Sophie trained as a secretary; Anne has 6 O-levels and two A-levels from Benneton School. They have little in common.

I don't agree. I think she does have a good relationship with Princess Anne. If you remember after Anne did her Curtsy to the Queen after her accompaniment from Edinburgh and they brought the Queen in to the church. It was Sophie who reached her hand out to comfort Anne. Only someone close to her could pull that off. I think Sophie is respected and loved by the whole Royal Family. Anne is just so busy all the time it's hard to build relationships. And I also think Anne was grateful in the way Sophie cared for the Queen. I think loyalty and hard work go a very long way with Anne and as Anne does Sophie carries on and doesn't complain, and does it quietly looking for no publicity for it.

I like Sophie. Anne only performs 500 engagements per year to stay relevant and to justify her salary. Kate only performs 100 engagments because her looks and her clothes keeps her a mainstay in the news.
