have you ever had problems with the longevity of fusible interfacing? obviously with a leather jacket you probably won't be washing it very often, but I once made a collared shirt with a hidden button placket as a gift for my mother and within the first few washes I could see that the interfacing was bubbling away from the fabric. From what I read at the time I think the consensus was that the fusible interfacings sold at hobby stores in the US are not made for longlasting garments. I'd ask you for brand recommendations but I imagine the brands are different in germany?? anyways thanks for the vid, I've been learning a ton from your videos.

Also, as one designer to another, I’m curious as to why you constructed the pocket in this way? It looks more complicated than if you had sewn the front seams first and then constructed a single welt pocket with flap on each side? I suspect it would have been far less bulky on that front seam you need to sew.. 🤔

ep' - ill - lets (short E) (like pep - not peeps) if that helps. Also, I would expect a lot of push back from the animal rights people for the use of real leather. be ready!

also: la -pel' not la' - bel . I was wondering where you were going to place the label ... top, center, inside back?
