here's the thing though, when someone starts crying because they're adopted, it's likely because it's not them upset at their step-parents, they're hurt that their actual parents would abandon them so easily.

what i love most is how calli actually tried explaining it 'in person' while meanwhile gura got the equivilent of a fucking sticky note on the fridge that said "Remember to wake up early for summer camp sweetie! P.S. your adopted" and as another commenter in this section so aptly put it, "Gura's got that shelter dog energy." while meanwhile kobo had a fucking mental breakdown XDXDXDXD
