No better words, no sweeter melody than Debris.

This tune helped me through the loss of my own father when I was just 16. Thank you to both Ronnies for the memories of a lifetime.

One of my favorite Faces songs. Ronnie was a gem. I’m grateful he had such good friends around him to help when he needed it. Thanks Woody

Wonderful song, Ronnie Lane wrote that song about his Dad.and I personally think it’s one of Ronnie Woods finest moments on Guitar his playing is pure heart and soul on that track. Ronnie Lane was a true one of a kind, Great Songwriter and Sadly missed just like the old London Town, it’s so Soulless now, very sad as The Faces we’re so very much an old school London Band, and are not Celebrated Enough for my Liking 😔💔

Ronnie Lane is one of the relatively unknown greats. "Debris", "Annie", "April Fool", "Anniversary", "One For the list goes on.

You are right Ronnie, Debris is one of my favorite Ronnie Lane songs. But there are so many. Loved the Small Faces and then the Faces. Was sad when he left the Faces, but was so thankful that he kept writing and singing. Followed him all the way. Miss him and all the great music we didn't get to be blessed with. Also have to tell you loved the New Barbarians and when Rod joined in with you two was so great. Enjoy your ventures outside of the Rolling Stones. Your artwork is amazing also, so talented in so many ways. Thanks for all the years you have shared. Could go on and on talking about all members of the Small Faces, Faces and the huge amount of talent you all put out there. Also huge fan of Keith Richards, just love you all and sorely miss the ones that have left.

Woodys lead guitar work on Debris was, IMHO, the pinnacle of his work with the Faces.

Yes, you are correct, Ronnie Lane's song debris, and ooh la la has drawn a lot of people towards his videos.. In my opinion, I felt he didn't get proper justification on what belonged to him regarding his music. It's not till now because his son wrote a book, indicating how everybody just abandoned him when he had MS. However I know Ronnie had no problem getting into heaven.🙏💔 He didn't feel anyone did him wrong, he sang even in front of his shabby old flat. If you want to call it. . His son chronicles says that even Eric Clapton would come and they play outside until the sun would set. His father was his hero as he is to so many of us. 🎉 I'm just so happy that his music will live on, and on and more importantly remembering the type of man He was. Just a simple guy, with little wants and all he really wanted to do is enjoy playing his guitar and singing in front of those who are willing to listen. RIP Ronnie Lane🙏💔🙏

When we met at the Mayfair Regent in NYC in ‘79, you said, “ask me anything.”. I asked about this song. You told me about Ronnie’s work with Pete Townsend. I remember. Simple yet perfect tune.

Ronnie Lane is probably the most beloved rock star amongst his peers in history. There’s a reason for that. Check out the ARMS concert and look at the list of his friends who performed. Gifted guy.
