Dark Souls. What can I say about the series that hasn't already been said to death?

Truth is, Dark Souls has given me the strength to keep going even with my depression and PTSD from the military. Why? Because I know that to give up is to die in a way that is worse than physical. I've seen the depths of the Abyss, the fires of Lost Izalith, and the dizzying heights of Anor Londo. I've seen friends, and used their strength to help me forward. And returning to the series as my depression returns, I know I'll have the strength of will to keep going.

Main character(s) of this game is so amazing. I mean yeah dragons, bigass demons, undead horrible things alll of that is terrifying but a single knight determined to end you and no matter how many times you kill him he will come back for you, now thats something really scary.

It's been two years this trailer is still amazing.

After playing some Elden Ring, it made me remember why I loved the soul series. And this game was my very first one. Back in highschool my family was pretty poor so I Don't really receive much from allowances. When I saw the trailer for Skyrim back then I was HYPED AF. A few months passed, and It was a month away from release date and I couldn't wait any longer. Went to gamestop to look for a new game to play in the meantime and asked the employees what new game is hot atm and they said Dark souls. I honestly have never heard of the game before like at all so I decided to save my money and leave. When I got home, I went on youtube and searched up Dark Souls trailer and it was this trailer. After watching this badass trailer it convinced me (by the way I haven't even seen the gameplay yet so I'm going in blind with this lol). Went to gamestop the next day and bought it. It was so hard and I was raging like crazy T-T
When Skyrim came out, I didn't have enough money to buy it sadly. Yes, Me being an impatient teen made me choose Dark souls over Skyrim I know. Did I ever regret making my purchase? No. Buying Dark souls was the best decision I've ever made back then. Sure the game was really weird and hard playing it for the first time but maaaan when you beat the bosses it sure was a good feeling. It was pretty funny how back then my friends would be talking about Skyrim and I'd be the one to talk about Dark Souls and it's difficulty and they'd be like, "whats that?" LOL. Anyways, yeahhhh just wanted to share that with you guys. Good times.

What I love about this trailer is how the word "LIVE" pops up at the end of the text that begins at 0:50. So it's not just "Prepare to Die, " but also "Prepare to Live, " to experience just how rewarding a game can truly be.
