Huge bur oak! How old is it? #shorts,#giant oak, #guess my age

just for size comparison I'm 5'8 230 lbs so I have some girth to me as well. lol

We got a couple of them in our backyard. I Don't know how to age trees by looking at them but I'd say it's got some age to it probably older than me and you put together

Probably around 500 for one of that size. Bur oaks usually grow slowly

Depends on whether the wife watered it for 50 years or if it was untouched for 120 years.

I have one roughly the same size in my back yard. It was dying so we cut all the limbs off but I haven’t cut down the stump yet but I would be interested in how old this one is as I am also looking forward to seeing how old the one I have is.
