Just around 3 months after Pewdiepie started his Minecraft letsplay, another channel uploaded a video that started a very popular trend.

Luke TheNotable uploaded part 1 of his 100 days Hardcore Minecraft series. This was the very first video with the 100 days trend in mind. It quickly gained attention, and got extremely popular.

1.1-1.8 Full hype. 1.9-1.12 downfall from combat update in java edition and no exciting updates. 1.13-1.15 from the aquatic update to the buzzy bees update minecraft started comeing back becuase mojang realized their previous updates didnt bring enough hype so they stepped up and brought in a new and beautiful ocean then new village and trading system with new raids that spawn to the 2019 bus-zy bees update. 1.16-1.19 the game has full hype again and its new music creator lena raine makes some awesome and funny tracks. 1.16 was a big change to minecraft especially becuase it changes the way the game is beaten in a way depending on how you do it.
