My main tip: Stop buying players under 21, keep a realistic age avg. For premier league is 28.

@FCGems As of the 13th of February title update, it seems that the ChipShot + playstyle glitch for YA players has just been patched. Still yet to test it on a fresh save, but if the patch notes mean what I think it does, im happy they finally made the fix

Btw when low budget, you should sell your best players even if they're VERY important and on the verge of being the next Ronaldo, bcs you see all other teams irl have their best players snapped up by bigger teams.

Some unrealistic things about EA FC 24 Career mode including ways to improve upon them

1. Players are too demanding for gametime and if not played consistently will request a transfer which is simply unrealistic unless the player is a top player at the club ( “Rotation” players do this as well)

2. When simulating the game sometimes substitutes aren’t used, this ties into issue no. 1, if there was some way to program the sim that all substitutions should be used this would go a long way to making players have consistent game time

3. Board objectives are too stringent, if you fail just 1 critical objective but still produce a satisfactory performance you get the sack. If the game included the ability to “negotiate” on club objectives or even an option to outright edit or disable them then the game could be more fulfilling. I’m tired of wanting to play FIFA and needing to for example, win cups every season in order not to get sacked which is simply unrealistic.

4. Fix the loaning system, it’s unrealistic for Real Madrid or Chelsea to want to loan my wonder kid as they won’t get game time, teams in second tier divisions or those fighting either against relegation or for promotion should loan and USE them. If loans worked better the game would be more realistic

5.Staff, it’s currently half baked but hopefully FIFA expand on the hiring staff aspect to include other crucial positions as well as consequences i.e. hiring a 3 star medical staff would lead to more injuries but cheaper costs

6. Improve the odds of youth scouting because currently their unrealistically low, I know that scouting for young wonderkids shouldn’t be easy but 5 star scouts should be able to effectively scout prospects better, however you can spend an hour on one report and only pick up a few decent signings at times

7. Introduce Youth Leagues to insentivise and improve upon Youth Academies to make them more realistic, my suggestion would be adding the UEFA Youth League to the game. In order to balance this out you can either hire a youth academy coach to automatically sort the scouting reports and run the academy or you can do it yourself.

8. Introduce manager contracts, what I mean is having the contracts be season to season is kinda unrealistic. Have us sign like 4/5 year deals and allow us to improve upon our wage and reputation.

I may be nitpicking on some of these but any of these suggestions would make career mode far more realistic than it is. It’s unfortunate but playing EA FC 24 on PC with mods is the only way to make the game feel more realistic as literally most of my suggestions can be applied.

One thing about managers: You could probably use the avatar creator lookalikes (even if they're not pinpoint accurate in appearance). Mostly maybe up and coming ones, Kompany, Wayne Rooney, Big Ruud etc. with lower tier teams. It wouldn't really damage the realistic career mode setting much, and allow you to still do somewhat of a "road to glory".

I don’t really enjoy using real managers because for some reason they never have on a manager jacket when it rains/snow that ruins the immersion for me I know it’s kinda silly but like I said immersion is something that this game is in desperate need of

Tbh the GTN from 15-23 was the best. Now I can’t find the exact player for my tactics tbh because it has everyone as a tactical fit when they aren’t because you can’t look for specific things anymore (tall, pacey, box to box, etc)

This might be off topic, I can also confirm that the chip shot + glitches has been fixed on Xbox series x/s.

You don't need to start a new career mode (I thought you would have to but I was wrong), just continue playing where you have left off from in your career mode and you would receive a new playstyle+ from a youth academy player and not "chip shot+" again.

I think as far as realism goes, you should have one scout permanently in the country if the league where you play. I also think that you have to think about the position of the team and where the players you may sign are playing. It wouldn’t make sense for Parma to sign Hato from Ajax, for instance.

I wish they would do minus options for financial takeover. Often the starting budget for a team is not realistic

Bro what do i do with the injured players irl like timber from arsenal ? Should i use him anyway ? If i dont play him for 5 games continuously he gets angry and gives me a loan request or transfer request

Every time you have transfer negotiations on strict sometimes there are like 5 or more clubs you can't buy players from, it would be more realistic if it was just main rivals

As I try to keep it RTG … means I do lose out on trying an psg, city etc but I know by January I’d be bored

Lol I put it on legendary and lose all the games or draw, and on world class I just won all the matches with more than 3 goals, there is no actual good difficulty
