The recording from her 1969 album First Take is the high standard for this song. It was overlooked by everyone until Clint Eastwood included it in it's entirety in his 1971 directorial debut PLAY MISTY FOR ME during a love scene, and Roberta was immediately in demand, so a single was released and she became a star. THAT recording's tempo, arrangement and quality can never be reproduced.
