The popular Cretan artists George and Nikos Stratakis enjoy their coffee at the old port of Chania. The tabor lying on the table and its thrilling sound arouse the interest of a kid. The artists could not withstand. They started to accompany the sounds of the kid and the guests started clapping. The dance did not take long to start. The spontaneous musical call led Greek and foreign passers dancing the traditional "pentozali" from side to side in the old port...

Οι δημοφιλείς Κρητικοί καλλιτέχνες Γιώργος και Νίκος Στρατάκης απολαμβάνουν τον καφέ τους στο παλιό λιμάνι των Χανίων. Το νταούλι που βρίσκεται πάνω στο τραπέζι κεντρίζει το ενδιαφέρον σε ένα πιτσιρίκι ενώ ο ήχος του το ενθουσιάζει. Οι καλλιτέχνες δεν μπόρεσαν να αντισταθούν. Συνόδεψαν τους ήχους του μικρού και οι θαμώνες άρχισαν να χειροκροτούν. Ο χορός δεν άργησε να ξεκινήσει. Το αυθόρμητο μουσικό κάλεσμα οδήγησε έλληνες και ξένους περαστικούς να χορεύουν πεντοζάλι από άκρη σ' άκρη στο παλιό λιμάνι...

Die beliebten kretischen Künstler George und Nikos Stratakis genießen einen Kaffee am alten Hafen von Chania. Die Trommel auf dem Tisch und ihre magische Musik lockt die Interesse eines Kindes an. Die Künstler warten nicht lange. Sie beginnen die Klaenge des kleinen zu begleiten und die umherstehenden Menschen beginnen zu klatschen. Ein Tanz kam auch schnell in Gaenge. Die spontane musikalische Aufruf führte griechische und ausländische Passanten den Traditionellen Tanz "Pentozali" entlang des alten Hafens zu Tanzen...

Giorgio e Nikos Stratakis, famosi artisti di Creta godono il loro cafe al vecchio porto di Chania. Il tamburo che si trova sopra la tavola attira l' interesso di un bambino, il suono de la musica lo fa entusiasta. I artisti non potevano resistere allo spetacolo e hanno accompagnato I suoni del bambino e la gente ha cominciato applaudire. Fra pochi minuti il balo ha cominciato. La spontanea invitazione musicale ha guidato greci e turisti balare lungo le strade del vecchio porto...

Giorgos y Nikos Stratakis , dos de los artistas más famosos de Creta están tomando café en el puerto más viejo de Chania. Sobre la mesa hay un tabor. Un niño lo toma y empieza a tocarlo.¡Su sonido le encanta! ¡Los artistas no pueden resistir este espectaculo! Se ponen a acompañar el niño con otros sonidos y la gente aplaude. De un momento a otro, por esta invitación música espontánea,toda la gente,griegos y turistas acaban bailando a lo largo del puerto...

The lovely island of Creta, I have been there several times, stayed in Agios Nikolaos.Sitia, Ierapietra, Lasithi, Almiros beach, A, N harbour with it's bottomless lake. the nights in the tavernas, eating, drinking, dancing, I wish I was Greek, I would live. Efkaristo, with love from Finland.
