I bought a similar product from Amazon and used it on my front loading dryer with the lint trap below the door. I used it with my shark upright vacuum and the lint filled half of the canister. Then went outside and cleaned the dryer vent. It is like opening Pandora’s box. Thank you for your review. Fire prevention is so important!

I just pull my dryer out a few times a year and remove the back cover screws and clean it out for real. Also gives me a chance to clean under and behind the dryer. By doing this my dryer has lasted 19 years so far.

the lint lizard is good for cleaning out the dryer lint trap but i think the other brush one is best for cleaning out the vent pipe where you can attach extentions to it

It's almost scary how often I see a review from your channel that helps me with an issue! Last night my husband and I were talking about how our dryer wasn't drying properly and we thought the vent may need some cleaning! I might get this. I can see how taking the dryer out and doing a complete job may be better, but perhaps do that once a year and use this every month! I also see that this long, flexible tube will be useful for under the fridge, stove and laundry room appliances as well as possibly working to remove some things that get down in my floor heating vent.

I onced stopped at a house fire in North Hollywood California. The homeowner came home about the time the fire department got done. The fire chief approached the lady (rather close to where I was standing) and asked if she was the homeowner, she said she was and asked what happened. He asked her if she had cleaned out her lint trap on the drier recently. She couldn't recall. He said the drier was left running and the accumulated lint caught fire.
2 lessons:
1) Clean out the lint from the system and
2) Never leave a running washer or drier unattended. Stay home when they're on. Washing machine hose have burst and flooded homes when no one was aroun.

The nice thing about using the lint eater instead is now you can actually clean your ducts and the output of the dryer which is pretty critical.

My earring went down to the sink and I was heart broken. I was at Target when this caught my attention I bought it and I used with my wet/dry vaccum cleaner. Working with the hose into the pipe and Thanks God I was able to recovery lovely earring😊

If you get this much lint out, it's time to open the dryer up and clean it. Your burners or heating elements are likely heavily coated. You could use the LL for a quick monthly cleanout, not years of neglect.

However you choose to get that lint out do it because if it gets packed in there you can have a house fire the birds make nests in your dryer vent. Check them.

If you own a body on frame truck or SUV, this is a must own tool. Use it to vaccume out your frame through the factory holes every few years.
The dirt, rust and sand build up inside and holds moisture rotting out the frame. Spraying it with oil will not help if it has debris inside.

First vaccume it with a shop vac then blow it out in reverse(after emptying the vac) Then spray oil inside. Do the same to the rockers and even the top of the frame as well where stuff builds up.

I didn’t know these kinds of products existed. I can say I see the market for them though because in my house’s dryer, the lint screen got cleaned but no one realized it was piling up at the bottom. Eventually it piled up enough that the lint screen wouldn’t go all the way down. A corner of it stuck out and clothes would catch on it and twist into oblivion.

I've got this exact same dryer, and Shark vacuum, so i'm glad to have watched this, so I didn't overheat my Shark! I'd use the Lint Lizard again after using the brush. There's probably a bunch that could be vacuumed out now.
