and national reflectivity mosaic.

There are about 30 different types of radar datatsets available as well.....surely someone can train some sort of data to match with sightings :) ?

Yeah, anyone with expertise in this area would be very useful as the amount of data and like....how there's 40 different types of data you can extrapolate from radar among the 100 other be appreciated

the sponsor bit made me chuckle, it was so random and it looked like you were not looking forward to doing it but had to get it out the way

Its been a hot minute since I've messed with this, but Doppler (NEXRAD) is not super effective at capturing non-weather artifacts. By design its meant to to capture objects higher in the atmosphere as well as larger. Theoretically, if there were a drone swarm it may be able to pick it up but individual drones don't have a large enough cross-section to come up on Doppler. You need specialized X or Ku-band radar to identify the smaller objects.

Imagine they all uncloak at once and thousands appear in our skys.

Haven't worked as a meteorologists in over 20 years, so don't know the programs sadly.
Using Doppler is an interesting idea, lot of noise and artefacts on it though. So need to double check the dots against some other data. Again I was pre cool programs, so sticking my head out of the windows was a big part of my job haha.

I use these asmrs to fall asleep. Thank you.

orbs are not drones, these won't show up on radar

Don't get me wrong, I love learning all about these lights in the sky. But you kind of glossed over that segment about the stackable living room lights, and I want to know more.

I checked out this map/radar if you go back in months seems like a common occurrence nothing unusual imo.

i have an inside tip of something interesting.
supposedly ships stationed in San diego have shot at least one down. apparently there's activity off the coast ....

You should've showed what NJ looked like before the drones!

It is so weird to watch my homeland get this much attention.

Do a side by side comparison of weather satellite images so you can compare clouds to radar

I appreciate your time looking over these things .you really need to colab radar like this with any vid, so no your work can be a good back up on any updates .thanks just found your vlog last month like it .thanks for your work..from New Zealand .keep eye out I think out too sea is were it's going to start.

Stay safe America, a Chinese tourist national just landed a drone on one of our naval vessels, our largest one so seems drones are becoming a problem. Our senator Malcolm Roberts uploaded the footage to youtube. Stay alert my American cousins

Another thought along this line would be have a network of people on a chat that could look at the same time at objects, maybe coordinate photos and videos. Maybe also use EMF meters that are networked like a big web over the country to track magnetic disturbances. Just some random thoughts Kirk out...

This is all very interesting. thanks for sharing

Could the radar be detecting birds flying inland? The swarm flying in from over the ocean looks organic, like a cloud or flock of somethings.

Odd how the dots dissipate into the ocean. There are 2 BIG cargo carriers that have been parked off shore there for two days:

The FEDERAL CLYDE
The ALGOMA VERITY
Edit: MSC Sweden VI outside of NY

Both of these have daily tracks of just coasting up and down the Jersey shore. Perhaps that’s where these things are landing

Just looked off California coast on our dopplar and crazy little triangle of "clouds", squared little three matching green dots, crazy! Good idea and theory about trying the weather radar, I look forward to continuing to test the theory! Thanks! Wish I could post the pics I got lol
