Chad shows how to name benzenes in this lesson beginning with monosubstituted benzenes. He then moves on to polysubstituted benzenes including disubstituted and trisubstituted benzenes. He then introduces several benzenes with special names including benzoic acid, benzaldehyde, phenol, anisole, toluene, and xylene and how to use the prefixes ortho, meta, and para to name some of these disubstituted benzenes with special names.
