Pregnancy Facts No. 7: Stuffy nose in Pregnancy

I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant and I have stuffy nose since the begging of my pregnancy! It’s really difficult to sleep at night 😢

i have to keep a vicks inhaler stick everywhere i go...otherwise I feel like im suffocating.... had the stuffy nose since the beginning...now week 12.❤

Dude this is hell. I’m so snotty and sneezy, it keeps me up at night. I’ll try the humidifier but allergy pills are doing nothing at all

It was almost the exact day of the second trimester (a week ago from today) that I started getting congested.
I had no issues in my first trimester, but I’m struggling some days :, )
I thought I had a cold, but it hasn’t gotten worse and no fever. It hasn’t gone away either, just stayed the same.

I might try saline spray!

I've been I've been pregnant 7 times (2 miscarriages) currently pregnant now, and this is the first time I've ever had a severe stuffy nose! 😭

My double sneezing is always the sign I’m pregnant..I always miscarry sadly but keeping hope this time that it sticks..just had implantation bleeding..didn’t know thought I just had a cold

I am on 13 DPO. I had a very high fever for a day on 4 DPO and then started to have a lot of mucus stuck between my throat and nasal passage. I have been coughing (dry) a lot since then and the mucus comes out only when i gargle with saline water. I dont know if my result will be positive but i just dont want to take any chance taking meds for my mucus. Mucus is not bothering me much now and I can breathe.

Except saline doesn't do squat. Neither do steroidal sprays. For me it's either Afrin or I can't sleep. Sometimes even Afrin doesn't work.

This is me right now!! 😩 I was sick before without congestion. The doctor prescribed antibiotics bc it was going on 3 weeks and I was still not better. I didn’t pick up the antibiotics bc I’m honestly scared to take them even though they say it’s safe. Fast forward…I’ve currently been congested for 2 weeks. Can’t smell or taste anything and it’s been so difficult to sleep. This will be week 5 of being sick. 2 weeks of stuffy nose. I’m 24 weeks pregnant and producing so much mucus it’s I didn’t know it was possible to produce so much!!! I have the humidifier on at night and that seems to help me fall asleep. Vicks vapor doesn’t even help. I was thinking of getting nose spray today. Any suggestions??? This absolutely sucks 😢

Im using otrivin nasal spray for 2 months.. Now 5 months pregnant.. Is it harmful for the baby????
