i don’t know why everyone got so mad about the converse in the first place. at my prom everyone just wore heels for pictures and changed into sneakers for the actual dance. some people didn’t even wear shoes at the dance because their heels hurt their feet too much.

Definitely converse. That’s what I did for prom 2023. It was a different brand tho but it was still nice and comfy. Not too nice tho. But it matched.

I actually also wanted to wear my converse for our prom about a month ago but sadly my mom bought me heels already and I didn't want it to be wasted and not used especially because she bought it for prom so I sucked it up and had to endure more than 5 hours of pain. Almost all of the girls were also complaining about their feet hurting so it was fine on my end because I wasn't alone. But honestly, my mom was also in it when I said I might wear the converse just so I could sing "Who said, that I can't wear my converse?" Because she herself did the same thing back then. I'll absolutely make sure to try and do it next year since I am going to be a senior next school year and they also have prom!
