I got my black card but I said No to this taping.
Better if it comes with a pin for safety measures as other banks does!!

I haven't use my black card as yet. I don't like the tapping system of R1000. What if you lose your card ppl can just tap for that amount...They should definitely lower the amount.

Capitec is good and simple bank but I also think the 1000 tapping limit is too high. I would have liked to keep it at 500 but it was offered as a choice

When I get my new card I told the lady I don't want the card to tap. Now I receive sms that say welcome with your new card that tap

What I really dislike my card for some reason went corrupt and I had to get a new one at my expense I am a pensinor battle to naked ends meet now still have to pay for a new card they should really rebook at things keeping pensinors in mind

Tap option only available with a minimum limit of R1000, so anyone can tap your card without a pin for up to R1000. The bank does not guarantee that R1000 and will not allow you to make your tap limit R0 to ask for a pin on every transaction!!! How is that better for me????

This black card is realy bad, i like my gold card bt any capitec is the best bank
