Wildfire Front Row On Ride POV - Kolmården

Wildfire is a wooden roller coaster located at Kolmården Wildlife Park in Sweden and opened at the park in June 2016. The ride stands at 183ft and features a 160ft drop, 3 inversions and reaches a top speed of 71mph during it's 2 minute ride length. Wildfire is manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction with certain elements of the ride made by Vekoma and is the first major ride thrill ride to be constructed at Kolmården Wildlife Park.

Definitely need to get out there next year to ride this bad boy. Incredible coaster. Shame it's not in a park befitting such a fantastic coaster but I suppose it's put Kolmarden on the map to be fair.

I went on Wildfire last year and I remember seeing one of the funniest damn things ever (in my opinion). I was on the front row, and right behind the control system, there was just a display of all the broken phones that people took with them on the ride, and I think it was funny to me because it was a demonstration of "This is what happens when you don't listen, " lmfao.

Some coater fans don't get this coaster, because it is a bit slow in the middle. Yes the coaster does slow down a bit in the middle, but it doesn't take away the fact that this is an awesome ride. So incredibly smooth, with a sensation that you are flying!!!. I can see why it is Shaun's No1 coaster.

Wow! This looks amazing. They could improve it just a bit buy adding some trees around the route. Yes that would mean a lot of care and maintenance but seeing as it hugst he ground so well I think the illusion of flying fast through a forest would possibly put this woody at the top of a top 10 woody list

I still remember seeing a bunch of ads for this one in the year or so before it opened and thinking "Kolmården is a zoo with a handful of kiddie-rides (including the dolphinexpress, with some of the most cursed trains I have ever seen) and a safari cablecart, how good is it gonna be?"


I then forgot about it only to find out (years later) that Wildfire is considered one of the best wooden rollercoasters in the world.



I really gotta visit Kolmården again some day, cause it has clearly been a while

I just want to say to all the people who wants to ride this, its like twice as fast IRL when you ride it. this video looks really slow. Trust me its much better in person

I went on this roller coaster a couple years ago. I fainted 0:47 and woke up 1:32. I screamed and cried for the rest of the day.

When I first saw wildfire I was scared to ride on it but when I ride on it i realized it was not scary at all😂😂😂

Bro i rode this one twice and man the drop in the beginning was scary af, passed out both times but the rest is just amaaazing
