I tried difficulty 7 all brute force nothing op like remembrance and Nihility, got a solid setup but i couldn’t even get final boss Argenti to 50% health on HIS FIRST PHASE!

You get so much damage from blessings/equations that the actual characters you use for DPS barely even matter. I run both Aventurine and Luocha and make sure to pick up some defensive blessings to survive, and Ruan Mei is amazing for getting a strong headstart. Often hers is the only Technique I use unless I am overcapping, and she synergises well with the broken Remembrance blessings.

Also, since most of your damage is from blessings buffing you to high heaven, you can swap relics out to the Winter Guard set. Your character's damage basically means nothing. A fully buffed character by supports ulting a Threshold 8 boss/miniboss enemy practically tickles it without blessings.

Also don't forget that if you pause during a battle you can restart the battle at any time. Since they knew everyone was save scumming high difficulty battles you can just retry with your techniques automatically applied for free.

Feixiao with erudition x elation eq = unli ult especially if you both have the brain in a vat 3 stars + the two 3 star hunt that gives extra turns per weakness break and kills

divergent universe is basically "we max out all the characters for you but you'll still lose if you don't use the characters we want you to use and even if you do use em you'll still lose if you don't get lucky with blessings"

Tbh p6 on last patch was way harder than p8 on this patch for me at least.

If you read some of the changes they buffed equation dmg based on your threshold protocol level which we didn’t have last patch. They also added a LOT more equations making stacking 1 and 2 star eq’s much better. Also just more defensive eq’s which make a massive difference when using someone like fu xuan.

Even though p8 is 3x as tanky, dealing enough dmg was never really the problem, it’s more the staying alive part, which felt easier this time after all the changes
