I don't think George R R Martin is ever gonna be able to top A Storm Of Swords. That book just had everything in it.

Reek's chapters were almost my favorite of this book, that characters transformation has been really dramatic. Also loved everything in Meereen and on the wall.

Bend the knee folks, this was the book that made Stannis my favorite character

My reaction upon finishing this book: "I can't wait to read this again and unravel all the mysteries."

Probably my favorite novel in the series, I honestly think it's better than ASOS.

The epilogue with uncle Kevan for me was a huge cliffhanger or maybe more like a game changer, a great chapter either way.

Also Cersei.

I just finished A Dance With Dragons, and am considering rereading it alongside A Feast for Crows for continuity's sake, part of me thinks that's how the books are supposed to be read but couldn't be released that way because it would be a massive 2000 paged book

o, wait a minute... in book 2 clash of kings, didnt Ramsay pretend to be Reek so that everyone would think that he was dead, but it was in fact Reek that had been killed in the woods and not Ramsay?

It’s safe to say that Winds of Winter has taken “a while”. 😏

Spoiler alert (kind of)

To me, Jon's last chapter was the climax of the book. I remember getting all pumped up for what Jon was about to do then...THAT happened! I was like..."Yeah Jon you go back to Winterfell and kick Ramsy's as...wait...WHAT!? *going back through pages trying to find out where it all went wrong*...NO!"

And Cersie's last chapter I thought was really cool, like

Oh and Young Griff's true identity being revealed blew my mind also.

why must the pacing in this book be so The assault on Meereen comes together in a much more satisfying way compared to the show, but holy shit, some of these chapters is like watching a glacier move.

I thoroughly recommend them, they're only around 70/80 pages long too & available online to read for free as well.

Yes folks...we are in 2021 and the winds of winter are still not published... wondering what Martin will mention in his note this time

I really enjoyed the book too, and finally I can watch interviews with George R R Martin without being afraid of being spoiled! I agree with you about the Theon chapters, his POV was one of my favorite parts of the book, even when I hated him before I'm kind of rooting for him now! and it's not right haha !! same thing happened to me with Jaime Lannister in A Storm of Swords, I can't wait for A Winds of Winter!
