It would nice if Nikon would support JPEG 2000. It has been over TWO decades. They are supposed to have great lenses including those rather large ultra corrected Z lenses yet they still use a losey compression format which has artifacts. Original JPEG is obsolete and it doesn't have true lossless compression available like JPEG 2000.

I would also like support for DNG files. If all cameras supported this we could probably get better software that had FFT based color matrix interpolation and homomorphic deconvolution based noise removal. This mathematical noise removal is something I learned about in DSP course in college in the 1970s. This is much too much computation for the camera's microprocessor. But, a Ryzen 9 could get rid of all the stationary stochastic noise in minutes.

And, can the camera export a true raw file (DNG would be preferred) that hasn't been processed for noise reduction so your desktop software can do it?

I was disappointed that the Z lenses don't have appature rings. And, that the F to Z adapter doesn't fully support AI and AI-s lenses. Would auto diaphragm and appature couplings be too much to ask And, support for what an FA can do with metering modes.

Please send the most important message to Nikon from wildlife photographers from India like me, to improve its Bird and animal eye autofocus in Z8 & Z9 camera, which is still far behind Sony cameras, particularly Sony alpha 1, which was released 3yrs back. Many Nikon fan wildlife photographers like me are frustreted only due to this.

With more such video's floating around about new camera models don't be surprised if Nikon uses "Looking London, Going Tokyo" technique to spring surprises which nobody would have guessed 😂😂.
