Final Fantasy XVI has 32 Notorious Mark Locations (Hunt Board Quests). Completing all Hunt Board Quests unlocks the trophies “Hunter, Hunted” and “Think, Mark”. The Notorious Marks are the Hunt Board Quests, they are the same thing. They are unique monsters found in the open world. Slaying one Notorious Mark completes one Hunt Board Quest. The Hunt Board is unlocked in Main Quest 31: Release.

This guide lists everything in chronological order when it first becomes available. If you find a high-level S-Rank enemy too difficult, lower the difficulty to “Story Focused” in the game settings and equip the Autoevade Ring (“Ring of Timely Evasion”). Also bring a full inventory of Potions.

None of the Hunt Board Quests / Notorious Marks are missable. They can still be found after the story in free-roam. After finishing the story, you can create a “clear save” and reload this save to still free-roam and complete all relevant side content.
