This movie which could have been a trilogy is a fusion of Death Wish and the Punisher.

A great format with a burnt out Vietnam War vet with only three things in his possessions. A revolver, M-16 and a flame thrower.

That shot of the jail cell closing and the tied up victim is framed in the open bars was a nice touch

0:21- However, at least in war, you have yourself a badass CCR soundtrack.
1:03- I don't know if it's such a good idea to just going around and shooting people.
1:14- I'm just glad the trailer includes possibly one of the greatest opening shots of all time.

great film just watched. Lots of subtleties that you have to really think about (the ptsd flashbacks of the young prostitute running parallel to Eastland's), the scene with the guns of Dalton mirroring the Eastland gun scene, some really smooth touches. The political stuff was unexpected and cool too. It had some of the conspiracy 70's thriller stuff thrown in, exploitation madness, the whole gruesome meat grinder scene. Classic film
