0:20 & 1:04 can we just take a moment to appreciate this song's pre-choruses? for me its better than the *actual* chorus. the spooky vibes. 0:24 spooky vibe is album wide but in this track it feels like everyone and no one is watching you at the same time like someone's reading your inner thoughts which was intentional according to vic discussing this song being abt someone's dream. vic's signiature vocal dragging/hanging notes on the end of his words and his acapella 0:28. it makes for such an addicting listen. the guitars, drums, and especially tht bass✨️ during the pre-chorus is so atmospheric. i'd be lying if said i didnt want the whole song to be like this--similar to stained glass eyes only this is better. im passing the f*ck out after typing this. will tell you abt the good life after waking up~
