I have owned Bosch mixers for almost 40 years. My first one still works. Best mixer on the market as far as I am concerned. I am also a cake decorator, but I make a lot of bread. The motor on this machine is amazing, even with 100% whole wheat it handles it beautifully. I also use it to make homemade fondant for my cakes and it never struggles. I can’t say the same for Kitchen Aid machines.

I am so grateful for this Liz.I have a smaller Bosch and it’s the only small mixer that has survived for so long in my kitchen.
So I was looking into getting a bigger one, and you just came through.Thank you 😊.

And to Oscar I say, we will always cherish the times we’ve seen you mixing it up, in all those videos.Alas Bosch (whose yet to be named), has come, but to relieve you.Rest well Oscar.😌

I’ve had a Bosch mixer for 37 years. It works perfectly after all these years. I love that they’ve added bowl scrapers. I take my splash guard off to add large volumes of dry ingredients.

I have owned a Bosch Universal Plus for almost 2 years and I wish I got it a long time ago. For more than 20 years I used Kitchen Aid mixer. I gave my kitchen aid pro to my mom. I use my Bosch for making bread and pizza dough and my wife uses for muffins and cakes. To test new bread recipes, I scale down to 454g and use dough hook with dough hook extender. This makes doing small batch very easy. I like how quickly I can whip egg whites. Because of my background I weigh everything when I make bread and pizza dough.

I just bought one and used your affiliated link! You're awesome! Love your personality and your knowledge! I'm currently a baking and pastry arts student and have loved watching all your videos! I just made my first three tier wedding cake recently and it turned out amazing! The day before the wedding, when I was about to make my buttercream to fill, crumb coat, and frost my cake, my KitchenAid that has been with me for 12 years stopped working!!! Go figure right? I was able to dabble with it and make it go again just so that i can make enough buttercream! I'm receiving my Bosch this Friday and my KitchenAid is in the shop right now getting fixed. I'm still keeping my KitchenAid as to make small batches and such. But thank you for your amazing review! I'll always be your supporter! ❤️

I've had my kitchenaid mixer since 1989 and it still works! Now, I want this one, too!!

I bought this mixer for my mother as a birthday gift and she hasn't stopped raving about how incredible it is. I tested it out with a french buttercream recipe and it turned out 👌.

I don’t bake enough to need this....but I want this.

The Universal Bosch has only four settings, but a transmission that automatically adjusts as it works harder and gets faster as the work load is easier. The separate turning paddles whisk so much faster, you don’t need to have faster speeds. Bosch is amazing!

I love this video!! You seem so happy!! You reminded me of a kid telling his best friend about the new-super cool toy that Santa Claus just left under the tree. ♥ 🎅

I always loved my Kitchenaid mixer which I bought in 1988. I bought a new larger one 6 yrs ago. After replacing parts on the new one twice and having it fail again I called Kitchenaid and they told me it was my fault because I made my bread dough at setting 2 and not setting 1. Really?
I now own a Bosch and can do much larger bread and biscotti loads and it is so much more powerful. I believe Bosch is the superior mixer no contest.

I just received my Bosch mixer, I love it!!! It’s my new kitchen workhorse. I purchased it with the steel bowl. This is a powerful machine you don’t need it at full go. So thank you @sugargeekshow for turning me on to this beauty ❤️

Truth is they should consult with you in designing it...

The plastic gears on the beaters is why I went with kitchen-aid. But it was not an easy decision. I would love it for Bosch to come out with machined stainless steel gears & beaters, & metal bowls.

You forgot to mention that the slowing down means the unit actually is using a different gear-ratio. It's one of the only mixers on the market that has a belt transmission (Bosch designs race cars yes).... it optimized the gear ratio to give the right amount of torque. This is important to know.

I love it! So easy to add things in the standing mixer its really stressful. Husband got me a Kenwood I really don't like it. But, this Bosch is so nice.

One day my baking reach exceeded my hand mixer's grasp and I knew it was time to invest in a stand mixer. I'd wanted a KA for most of my adult life but have read in the past few years that they don't last like they used to. I read more and more about what a workhorse the Bosch is and I wrestled with the decision for a while before finally choosing the Bosch. I was lucky to find a good used one and it's been love ever since. It does take a little getting used to but I know it's going to work for me for a long time.
