GSSA Utah Global Surgery Symposium - Dr. Charles Mock

Dr. Mock shares his experiences in global surgery and the role of the WHO, in the discourse titled, “Strengthening Surgical Care Globally: Lessons Learned from Trauma and Obstetrics”

Dr. Mock, is the Director of Global Surgery at the University of Washington and has worked at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, where he was responsible for developing WHO's trauma care activities. In 2010, he returned to his position as Professor of Surgery (with joint appointments as Professor of Epidemiology and Professor of Global Health) at UW.
