Picture this, you're a spider scorpion thing, it's a hot day out in the desert, and a source of shade is nearby. You get closer and the shade moves, so you chase after it, it keeps mpving, faster this time so you follow quickly.

Yeah, they look scary but mostly harmless unless you step on one or attack it, like most spiders.
