Once upon a time, Nas and DMX were co-stars on the set of the Hype Williams-directed Belly in 1998 as Dark Man X made the quantum leap to rap immortality with a pair of No. 1 albums released in the same calendar year.

I have listened to "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" front to back, back to front repeatedly since it dropped. It's IMO on of the top 10 hip-hop albums of all time.

Belly... is a super classic. The Tunnel scene with "However do you want it" playing in the background is amazing.

Dmx was in dc and asked my cousin could he buy his car for $10, 000 right now. My cousin declined and dmx and his boys still hung out in the club parking lot with us for 4 hours. 💯💪🏿✊🏿 definitely a Real 1.

Nas is one of the greatest ever, especially when it comes to developing a narrative inside a song lyric.

I met DMX in Miami, FLA some years ago around 2am. I was walking home, stopped at the gas station and saw X. We spoke for a few about music and NY.
When I was leaving X offered me a ride to my crib. I declined because I was on a mission. X was so cool. Great vibe.
It was a pleasure to have met him.
Blessings King. 💪🏿🤴🏾👑😇✊🏿🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Truly one of my favorite rappers, I met DMX 5 different times throughout my life and each one had an amazing story. DMX is the only rapper I’ve seen that can go wherever by himself and be good! 🙅🏾‍♂️

God I loved that guy...every day I tell my self, I am going to work hard 💪, go to America and then go to the Yonkers to just walk on the same grounds he use to so I can feel like I knew him in reallife.i always cry 😢. I know I won't see him but I know that's when I am gonna stop crying 😢 💔 .RIP X

Facts Nas, I remember DMX in the Chi moving around like he was in his element. He had that love and respect everywhere he went.

I have a "DMX story". 1998, listened to " Slippin " for the first time when I was 7 years old and it made me cry.
