How to start a scooter without keys

Thats a acceleration pump ur pressing on. its much easyer to give it about 3/4 times full trottle without the engine running. it does exacly the same as what you did with your screwdriver.

You might just have a tight valve. Does it have trouble getting up to speed? It doesn't cost much to fix it.

The choke is adjustable. I had the same problem then I set the choke leaner and now starts much better.

Several people below say that the problem is with the electric choke. I don't think that this is the case here. When the electric choke is "cold" then the "idle enrichment circuit" is open and lets more fuel into the carb . The wires going into the choke are for a small heating device. As the choke warms up the idle enrichment circuit gets closed. As others have observed, the silver circle that joshcb7 presses on is the accelerator pump. Each time that silver disc is pushed down it pumps a tiny bit of fuel into the system . Since the bike starts after depressing the pump, I suspect that the idle jet is too small and/or the idle mixture is too lean.

Damnn i have a zip 70cc 2 stroke and my scooter is exactly the same doesnt want to start cold
Have to kick it like 20 times when is starts ones its starts right up the whole day so bc of this vid i think my choke js not ok or my valve is 2 tight

Electrical tape is not good to splice wire you should fix it by removing the tape n cleaning the wires slip shrink tube ( 1/8, or 3/16 diameter, so it will fits over blue butt connector) on one side n using blue butt connector is 16-14 gauge wire diameter, they make them w shrink tubing on the ends too, but w a reg butt connector push each bare wire end into the butt connector crimp the butt so the wire is locked in then slip the shrink tube n heat it up till the tube shrunk down n seals the but n tight fit over the wire. Now the splice is weather proofed. electrical tape will eventually leak water n throw the voltage Totally off, n the electrical choke is not being activated. Live n learn. Hope this gives you n viewers insight in the proper way to Seal electrical wire splicing.

How come my Ignition Was changed. No. That it is.
Changed, we can't get her to fly her up. We had to fix spark once we got her spark back. After changing this Ignition, we had to do a valve adjustment after the valve adjustment. I never tried turning it on yet. I pray that it's going to work. I just don't know why it started messing up after changing the Ignition. Switch itself.

The fact that this is quite literally the same scooter i have down to the decals and all and yeah its snowing here and i had issues starting mine i just held start button brake and pulled throttle ans held it for 20 seconds and she started right up mine has 84 thousand miles on it
